CSUSB Celebrates Earth Day with human recycling triangle symbol!
More than 250 Cal State San Bernardino students, faculty and staff celebrated Earth Day on campus Tuesday, April 22, with various events culminating with the creation of a "human recycling triangle" symbol on the lawn of the university's Pfau Library.
Darleen Stoner, professor of environmental education, set up the design and more than 100 students, faculty and staff filled it in, while campus photographers shot the image from the top of the library. The human design was just one of CSUSB's activities and events planned for Earth Day. Campus environmental resources, clubs and exhibitors set up information booths for the attendees. Students also participated in the energy conservation games that took place on the lawn.
