Water Education
"A Wise Investment in Earth's Future"
NEST is in partnership with the campus's Water Resources Institute to offer teacher workshops related to water, water mini-grants, and explore other ways to increase the visibility of water education for youth. Specifically these efforts include:
Project WET (Water Education for Teachers) workshops for K-12 teachers. If you are interested in attending this workshop or a related water education workshop, please send an E-mail to nest@csusb.edu
Water mini-grants up to $500 are available again during the 2004-2005 school year. Mini-grants are sponsored by the San Bernardino Valley Municipal Water District. Click here for more information. (The Water grant application is in PDF format)
Water conservation eco-magic shows by Paul Cash are available, for a fee, to schools and special events. This water conservation show was originally developed with funding support from the Bureau of Reclamation. See Paul Cash Environmental Magic Show.
