NEST Liaisons. If you are an educator interested in using the environment as a basis for teaching, link up with others who are members of the network in Southern California. Many of our members are leaders in implementing environmental education in schools and communities. Membership is free.

Environmental Education Resource Center. This center contains a collection of environmental education curriculum, especially helpful in designing educational programs.

NEST Resource Guide. A guide especially for educators on local environmental resources.

Environmental EXPO. Now the largest environmental education and activity fair in California, EXPO is held each April on the campus of Cal State San Bernardino. This Earth Day celebration allows many community businesses, agencies, and organizations to join together to promote environmental awareness and knowledge for children, their parents and teachers, as well as the community.

Environmental Educator of the Year Award. This award recognizes a local educator for dedication and excellence in environmental education. The recipient is honored at Environmental EXPO.

Paul Cash Environmental Magic Show. Eco-magician Paul Cash works with NEST to create entertaining and educational programs about conserving water, saving energy, and promoting recycling. The shows are designed to meet state standards in science. Shows are especially appropriate for assemblies for K-6 students, for family evening school programs, and for weekend fairs and special events.

Waste in Place curriculum workshops in association with Keep America
Beautiful and Keep Riverside Clean and Beautiful. Correlations
of lessons to California State Standards, K-6, provided.

Water Education. NEST is in partnership with the campus's Water Resources Institute to offer water education workshops (including Project WET) and to seek other partners in order to promote water education.
